Do you think that you can be fired for a message or a post on Facebook ? The answer is yes. Today many employers enjoy spying on Facebook in order to know who they work with. But sometimes, it ends with someone fired.
How many stories have we heard about this ? Recently, I read a story about Alexandra, a journalist who was fired because she lied to her employer. She took medical leave but on Facebook, we saw her in good health in Deauville. But this is a story between hundreds.
So many people have been fired because of private messages or posts about their employers.
Today, we have to be careful with everything we say, especially on social network. Now, employers spy the facebook profile. That is a new way to recruit people and to know what people say about the company. Now, your life on social network isn’t private anymore and you must be aware.
Do you think that this is an abusive use of the social network ?
